National Australian Pipelines was engaged by APA to design and construct approximately 45m of DN50 high pressure steel pipeline along Wurundjeri Way, Docklands.

The new pipeline extension was required to supply the construction of a new mix use, residential and commercial development from the existing 300mm steel main located on Wurundjeri Way. The new DN50 main was laid in the roadway (Wurundjeri Way) and connects to the new builds gas meter room.

To mitigate traffic impact to Wurundjeri Way, all works were conducted at night with road closures and lane restrictions in place during the works to ensure safe separation from construction and public traffic.
