Due to the expanding development of Honour Village at Clyde North VIC, APA was required to conduct integrity digs and maintenance on the operational T1 Transmission Pipeline. The development includes a new roadway (Bells Road) and services being built over the APA T1 Gas Transmission Pipeline.
As part of reviews for the new road and services, APA determined the following was required as additional protection and assurance for pipeline integrity;
- Excavation of the APA T1 Transmission Pipeline to be situated under the future roadway (Approximately 25m), coating removal and integrity checks performed to APAs specification.
- Installation of protective concrete slabbing for the full width of Bells Road reserve (Approximately 44m).
