National Australian Pipelines constructed a 2.68 kilometre water main as part of the MGC Dedicated Main project for Goulburn Valley Water.

National Australian Pipelines constructed a 2.68 kilometre water main as part of the MGC Dedicated Main project for Goulburn Valley Water. The ductile iron concrete lined (DICL) pipeline ranged from
DN375 in Brepbir, Boorin, Cooray and Karook St to DN300 in Hamilton Lane and some sections of
DN250 in Karook St.

Major activities

Major activities undertaken for this project included:

Provision of construction management plans for the pipeline including; Health and Safety Plan, Site Environmental Management Plan, Quality Plan.
Provision of traffic management plans.
Traffic management during construction activities.
Survey and set-out of pipeline alignment based on the contractual drawings.
Excavation of trench and installation of pipeline bedding material to the contract specification.
Installation of all DN375, DN300 and DN250 DICL pipe and fittings to comply with the contractual drawings.
Backfilling and reinstatement of trenches including resurfacing of trafficable areas.
Testing and commissioning of newly constructed water mains.
Provide red-line mark-ups for as built drawings.
