Construction of approximately 350 metres of 100NB pipeline as well as the delivery, installation, testing and coating of pre-fabricated assemblies for the Wadeye Lateral Pipeline End of Line Station.

The works also include the installation of electrical and civil structures to be carried out for the End of Line Station.

Major activities

Major activities undertaken for this project included:

Provision of construction management plans for the pipeline including; Health and Safety Plan, Site Environmental Management Plan, Quality Plan.
Establishment of amenities and accommodation for construction and management crew given the remote location of the project.
Fly in – fly out program for construction crew, working 21 days on and 7 days off for the duration of the pipeline given the remote location.
350 metres of trench excavation for the Wadeye Lateral Pipeline.
Installation of 350 metres of 100NB pipeline tying into the existing Bonaparte Gas Pipeline.
Non-destructive testing (NDT) using X-ray on all welded joints in order to comply with AS2885
Cut and fill works for facilitating the construction of the end of line station.
Supply and construction of concrete pads and structures
Installation of above ground pipe spools
Installation of pre-fabricated skids for the End of Line Station.
Electrical installation, commissioning and instrumentation of the pipework skids at the End of Line Station.
Installation of cathodic protection (CP) point and several marker posts as required by APA.
Pigging, gauging and hydro testing the new mains to a minimum pressure of 25,000kpa in accordance with AS2885.5-2016
