National Australian Pipelines constructed a 1600mm GRP irrigation pipeline on behalf of Southern Rural Water through the winter shutdown period between May and August 2018. The pipeline project
was to effectively replace the existing open water channel system in the Tinamba District.

The 7.8km of pipeline installed was along a greenfield alignment through 15 different private properties and road reserves. The scope of Work also included the installation of 16x Above ground customer outlets, a Transition Structure and the installation of associated valves and control equipment.

Construction involved using up to 25 different pieces of plant ranging from varying sized Excavators,
Front end loaders and rollers/compactors. The project was in accordance with a AS4000 contract during the winter shut down period where water is shut off from being delivered to farmers via the open water channel system.
